Stop Judging the Process

Hello!

WOW! Back to school for the kids will be tomorrow and I am doing my best to get back into the swing of things. These long breaks really will spoil you rotten.

For the last several months there have been some apartments being built up the road from us. Passing by them I am always wondering what the end is going to look like. The construction process has always been interesting to me. Several weeks ago I was talking with a woman who I have become friends with and we were discussing all the homes, businesses, and future neighborhoods that were coming up. During that conversation we landed on the apartments and I said, “I don’t know what they are doing but those apartments don’t look like anything!” She agreed and we both laughed and went on.

Fast forward ahead I was doing some research for some affordable apartments for a friend and saw the finished version of the apartments down the road from me. I researched and found the official website and was amazed with the finished product and all that would come with it. The Holy Spirit stopped me dead in my tracks and gave a warning to stop judging the process!

Here we go again UGH! So I am here today to tell you to stop judging not only others process but your process. Someone (including you) may look like mess and that may look like:

• Them going from one thing to another
• Long time unemployment and eviction
• Marriage crisis
• Can’t seem to get one’s life together
• One bad trial after another and more

This never gives us the right to make a final decision of what their outcome (or ours) will be. To some your construction zone looks like it will amount to nothing…no good. But when God is done hammering, stacking, scraping, painting and putting in premium upgrades you are going to be jaw dropping with some fancy amenities. Just keep working yourself through with the Lord.

Walk forward, fall here and there, get back up, make mistakes, look crazy, cry, laugh, and count it all a joy. Because that is what the process looks like. You are HIS masterpiece and you were created for good works. Have a wonderful rest of the day.
