What Does God Say About Racism?

You cannot call yourself a follower of Christ and you look down on and despise God's creation. Showing partiality, showing favoritism, and racism is a sin. The Word of God tells us that when we discriminate we become judges with evil thoughts. When we act in this manner we are lawbreakers. When you cannot see every human being as God see's them you are NOT loving your neighbor as yourself. Can we owe no man nothing but to love him? For when we do this...we fulfill the law. Let what you share and say be done with a grace, truth, and love and not things that bring more division, hate, rage, and strife. This gets us no where. There are 6 things the Lord hates and those are a proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren. We are seeing more and more of what He hates in these past few weeks. We can post, scream, argue, and share things that only reveals more of our brokenness. But change is going to start first in our hearts, to our families, and to our communities so that we can move to make changes to a system that is for all people. We can do better than this.
