Here we go again! You have a chance to join us in these virtual streets and R.E.S.T. Last October was year 7 of us doing retreats and it was our first virtual rest retreat. It was such a blessed and anointed time. We are coming together April 29 – May 1 virtually once again and we are in great expectancy of what the Lord is going to do.

Rest Stop Sessions
When we look at Proverbs 31, we see that this woman is amazing. When we look at social media with all the candlelight steak and lobster dinners, fancy vacations, house, two cars, 2 kids, and happy, happy, joy, joy; we tend to measure our marriage by that and claim those moment snapshots to be our marriage goals. How can we rest in God and flee the foolery so that we can focus on what an excellent wife really looks like behind closed doors instead of focusing on the parade of shows that are put on for public viewing? Often singles get caught up in the idea of marriage and sometimes it becomes an idol in their lives. Fixing your thoughts on how much you can accomplish with a man in your life, having a warm body in bed, fixing the sexual urges, someone to take out the trash, and someone to mow the lawn is not good for you and it is surely not how God intends for you to use your time in your singleness. Can we just say that the past year has been…something else? With all that moms do they have also had to become the school, teacher, and principal. We are living in a digital world and it is a whole different ballpark. Parenting is a lot tougher in these times. Our children are hit and burdened with things on a greater scale than many of us had to deal with. We can go mad or find rest in the Lord so that we can maneuver these mom streets in a different way and keep our peace.
